Symposium featuring home landscape tours, Bokashi composting and other demonstrations, and a host of expert speakers! Learn how to incorporate edible plants and herbs into your landscape and how to forage your yard for food. The first day (Friday, September 8th) includes landscape tours and demonstrations at the AgriLife Extension Demonstration Gardens. Meals on your own on Friday. The second day (Saturday, September 9th) will feature four exciting speakers to include: Judy Barrett, Angela Chandler, Joseph Johnson, and Dr. Mark Vorderbruggen (Merriwether's Foraging Texas). Lunch is provided with snacks throughout the day. There will be vendors, raffles, doorprizes and a silent auction.
